Pengasih – The Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation Program continues to be launched. Kulon Progo Library and Archives Department replicates this program to the seven chosen village libraries, namely Tanjungharjo Village Library, Tuksono Village Library, Jatimulyo Village Library, Hargotirto Village Library, Tawangsari Village Library, Glagah Village Library, and Pagerharjo Village Library. This technical guidance on social inclusion-based library development strategy was held in November 15 and 16, 2022 from the seven chosen villages. Each village library sent three members from elements of the library, youth, and women management. The result of this technical guidance is a fact that not all villages are committed to replicate the program. There are only five from seven villages that commit to implement this program. The two villages which are not ready to join are Pagerharjo and Jatimulyo. The reason is because the condition in the fields are not ready, both physically, funding, and the human resources. However, this is not a problem, because a transformation needs a process and full support from the residents. Whereas the five villages which are committed to implement the program have submit their three-months work plan. This replication program is also reported through the TPBIS management information system which directly monitored by Indonesia’s National Library.
